DESCRIPTION		Trade fair and exhibition activities in the State of Bengal should be focussed at an institutional and operational level. An appropriate venue was to be provided accordingly. The new exhibition complex, conceived and planned by MAR Architects, consists of three different areas: the Office / Cultural Complex, the National Trade Fair Complex and the International Trade Fair Complex. The unique mix of local fairs with their own special character, international exhibition halls, coupled with high level service, meeting and event facilities in the Office/Cultural Complex, all in an attractive and functional landscape setting, could make the CEC a special highlight among trade fair venues.
